ENERGY
We reveal how energy feels — its rush, charge, motion, and lift — by visualizing the relationship between liquid, light, and speed.

We Had a Problem to Solve.
The energy-drink category is crowded with hyper-saturated, aggressive imagery — sparks, explosions, cliché speed lines.
We wanted to design something that captures the feeling of power without relying on overused effects.
The category visuals often felt:
-
Overstimulating and gimmicky
-
Flat in lighting, lacking kinetic realism
-
Focused on labels instead of the liquid’s motion
We aimed to translate energy as a physical experience — how light refracts through the can, how pressure builds, and how movement and sound can suggest caffeine’s surge.
Our Approach
We studied the behavior of liquid under pressure, metallic surface interactions, and cinematic motion pacing.
Then we built a visual system around:
-
Material Dynamics — aluminum vs. condensation, smooth vs. rough finishes
-
Lighting Flow — pulsing LED-like streaks to simulate adrenaline and charge
-
Atmospheric Detail — micro-droplets, vapour, and reflections to evoke cool intensity
-
Motion Energy — camera arcs that follow the liquid instead of the can, showing momentum and impact
